What ages do you serve?

Mosaic Montessori Academy serves children 2–6 years of age.

  • Toddler Community: Ages 2–3
  • Primary Environment: Ages 3–6

What programs do you offer?

School Year Montessori (SYM)

  • August through June
  • Summer and school break camps available for an additional fee

All Year Montessori (AYM)

  • August through August
  • Includes Montessori instruction throughout the summer

What are your program hours?

  • Extended Day – 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM
  • Full Day – 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Enrollment

What’s the enrollment process?

  • Step 1: Schedule a school visit (strongly encouraged but not required).
  • Step 2: Complete and submit the Application for Admission along with the non-refundable application fee.
  • Step 3: Schedule a Meet-and-Greet between the prospective student and the appropriate Lead Guide (Teacher).
  • Step 4: Complete and submit the Enrollment Form along with the non-refundable enrollment fee.
  • Step 5: Complete and submit all required enrollment documents.

Is there an enrollment fee?

Yes. A non-refundable enrollment fee is required to confirm and reserve your child’s place in the selected program. The amount varies depending on the program selected and is applied toward the total tuition.

Daily Routine

What time is drop-off?

  • Full Day Program: Beginning at 7:30 AM
  • Extended Day Program: Beginning at 8:30 AM
  • All children should arrive no later than 8:45 AM.

What time is pick-up?

  • Extended Day: 3:15 PM
  • Full Day: Between 3:15 PM and 6:00 PM

How is the day spent in the Primary Environment classroom?

  • Meet & Greet
  • Three hour Montessori morning work period
  • Snack Time
  • Morning Recess
  • Lunch
  • Two hour Montessori afternoon work period
  • Dismissal of Extended Day students
  • Snack Time for Full Day students
  • After-school activities for Full Day Primary students
  • Dismissal of Full-Day Primary students

How is the day spent in the Toddler Community classroom?

  • Meet & Greet
  • Two hour Montessori work period

  • Morning Recess

Tuition

Is tuition based on attendance?

No. As a school, we reserve your child’s place in the selected program for the entire academic year. Tuition is based on enrollment in the program and is not calculated according to the number of days your child attends.

Can tuition be paid in installments?

Yes. After the non-refundable enrollment fee has been paid, the remaining tuition balance may be paid using one of the following payment options:

  • 1 payment
  • 2 payments
  • 4 payments (AYM only)
  • 9 monthly payments (SYM only)
  • 11 monthly payments (AYM only)

Communication & Parent Involvement

How do parents receive updates on their child’s progress?

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences are held in the Fall and Spring for all students.
  • Families enrolled in the All-Year Montessori (AYM) program also participate in an endof-
  • year conference.
  • Additional communication is provided as needed throughout the school year.

Are parents required to volunteer?

While volunteering is not required, we highly encourage parents and family members to participate in school activities, events, and community-building opportunities whenever possible.

Can I message my child’s Lead Guide (Teacher)?

Yes. Families may communicate directly with their child’s Lead Guide through the ProCare App.

What makes Montessori different?

Montessori education nurtures the development of the whole child, recognizing that each child is unique and learns at their own pace. Montessori classrooms are intentionally designed to:

What is the difference between the School Year Montessori (SYM) and All-Year Montessori (AYM) programs?

Both programs provide an authentic AMI Montessori education and are grounded in the same Montessori philosophy and curriculum. The primary difference is the length and continuity of the program.

School Year Montessori (SYM) follows a traditional academic calendar from August through June. Families may choose to enroll their child in school break camps and summer camp separately for an additional fee.

All-Year Montessori (AYM) operates continuously from August through August. Instead of transitioning to a traditional summer camp, children continue their Montessori education throughout the summer in a consistent classroom environment. This year-round approach provides additional instructional days, a more comprehensive Montessori experience, and uninterrupted learning that allows children to build on their skills and maintain developmental momentum.
